This book, by G. H. Lang, is on a whole different level than your average commentary. This book opens the parables of the Lord Jesus like no other. To the devoted believer, hungry for a deeper grasp of the Word and ways of the Lord, Lang's writing are simply indispensable, a must have!

I believe this book gives unusual insights into some of the common misconceptions and even misinterpretations of parabolic teaching found in the New Testament. It's based upon solid biblical foundation. I'm really blessed by and highly recommend this classic work.

This is by far my favorite book on the parables...it is the first resource I turn to when studying the pictures and parables of Scripture. Lang is one of my favorite authors because he has a unique way of opening up Scripture in such a way that you think, "Yeah, of course! Wonder why I didn't see it that way before, it's so obvious now." Highly recommended!
