New from Kingsley Press: Gipsy Smith’s Life and Work by Himself

Rodney “Gipsy” Smith’s autobiography tells the amazing story of a gipsy boy from England who was transformed by God’s amazing grace and became a worldwide evangelist. He tells his story in a very simply but engaging way that will keep you turning pages until you get to the end. This brand new Kingsley Press edition is complete and unabridged and completely re-typeset for greater readability. It’s also available as an eBook for KindleNook and iBooks.

Gipsy was born and raised in a gipsy tent to parents who made a living selling baskets, tinware and clothes pegs. His mother died when Gipsy was only five. His father was in and out of jail for various offences but was wonderfully saved during an evangelistic meeting. Gipsy himself was saved at 16 years old, taught himself to read and write, and began preaching the next year with the Christian Mission, which later became the Salvation Army. His preaching attracted large crowds and he influenced the lives of millions for Christ.
