Book: Parables of the Cross by Lilias Trotter
Along, with “Parables of the Christ Life”, this is a very insightful book into the Christian life. The illustrations from plant life (both the paintings and the thoughts) are beautiful. This is definitely a book to read and re-read. –Cheryl
Book: Heaven: Biblical Answers to Common Questions by Randy Alcorn
I have found these a wonderful encourage at a memorial or funeral. I have attached a wallet size picture of the deceased to the front of the booklet and hand them out to attendees. –Bonnie
Book: Be Ye Holy by Leslie D. Wilcox
This book is priceless abounding with wisdom from the Lord and explanations that make understanding Greek, Hebrew, verb tenses, and other important implications not found from just reading the Bible. It is a most excellent tool for the Bible student who has given over their all to our Lord and Savior. No hypocrisy or compromise in this book. Neither should there be in those who read it. Book: They Knew Their God 1 by Harvey and Hey
A book of inspiration. A must read for people who enjoy reading about God’s people through the centuries. Very hard to put down, once you start to read it. –Linda
Book: Larger Window by Devern Fromke
I have own 2 copies of this book and have not finished reading either copy. The collection of stories and encouragement it provides us to – “Understand that we are here for the Father’s purpose, not our own, Ephesians 1:15-23 and 2:7.” Because of the encouragement this book provides and the path the Lord has me on, both copies have been given to others in need.
This is an excellent book for use in small groups to help open the eyes of Christians that are stuck in the day to day environments wondering where God is. This book will show anyone who reads it that God knows right where you are and what you need. I will be ordering another book for sure.
Book: Seeing God’s Wisdom by Devern Fromke
My son and I are using this as a devotional at the end of the day. It is a great conversation starter on God’s wisdom and how His ways are so much higher than ours. I would recommend this to any family as an addition to Bible Study.
