Star of Light was a book I had to read in school. I was very impressed how well written it is and how far in depth Patricia went with each character. Star of Light is filled with so many emotions happiness, sadness, joy, hate. I cannot wait to be able to read more of Patricia's books!

This Book is Great! This book is about a boy named Hamed who doesn't want his little sister Kinza to be sold to a beggar by their step father, so Hamid and his mother Zorah come up with a plan to rescue her from being sold. Hamid has to go to another market and give Kinza to this very nice English nurse named Rosemary, and she takes Kinza in and takes care of her. It is a really Great book, and I recommend you read it.
