Date added: 11/30/2013 Newly Added: Release of the Spirit by Watchman Nee
Today we added a classic work from Watchman Nee: The Release of the Spirit. Surely this is an hour when the battleground is over the soul. The Lord is seeking to work from the inside, through the spirit, regenerated by the new birth. Whereas Satan is attempting to work from the outside, through the soul, made corrupt by the Fall. Even in the believer, the self-hyphenated strengths of the outer man, the unbroken soul, have not yet been brought under the control of the Spirit. For this, Watchman Nee helps us to see that in order for his life-giving Spirit to be released through the channel of the human spirit, the "hard-shell" soul of the outward man necessitates breaking.
Watchman Nee became a Christian in mainland China in 1920 at the age of seventeen and began writing in the same year. Throughout the nearly thirty years of his ministry, Watchman Nee was clearly manifested as a unique gift from the Lord to His Body for his move in this age. In 1952 he was imprisoned for his faith; he remained in prison until his death in 1972. His words remain an abundant source of spiritual revelation and supply to Christians throughout the world.

Here are a few recent reviews that I wanted to highlight.
This book will Change your life. DeVern was given revelation that comes from the heart of God. I first read this book in 1973. it will change your view from earth to Heaven and from knowing the acts of God to knowing His Ways Psa. 103:7. This book is a foundation to build on. The Lord has Lead me into the Hebrew language that really defines our Fathers Views and what beats from His Heart. Thank you Kingsley Press for being a vessel to get this message out. Shalom Haverim -William A Turner
This is a very well-written and detailed biography of an exceptional spiritual man, written by another exceptional spiritual man. It also includes a pamphlet written by Groves entitled, "Christian Devotedness" which sets forth the teaching of trusting the Lord with your needs. This teaching was literally exemplified by Groves who, together with his wife and small children, closed his dental practice in London, sold all they had, gave to the poor and then headed for missionary service in India. Outstanding. Finally, the book sets forth how the Brethren began in the early 1800's by a handful of men who met together in the simplicity of the New Testament only to see many missionaries later be sent out to Africa, India, China and other places. I've marked it up and read it so often in the past 5 years I'm sure I'll soon be re-ordering it. Robert Anderson
This is an incredible book. For anyone who is a student of revival, this is a must read. I have read it several times already. It's simplicity and the fact that we see Oswald J. Smith's transformation for little or no experience in revival to a consistent work of the Holy Spirit in his church was so very good. As one who has struggled with this for over 40 years, this book brought a lot of clarity to my thinking and heart. I am determined to follow his 'process' of seeking God until..... -Jerry Soen

Today we added FIVE new titles by Andrew Murray:
In the first title, Andrew Murray's deep desire is to lead you to the well of living water you've been longing for, so that the free-flowing life of the Spirit within can become a reality instead of just a dream.
The other five titles are smaller books, each with 31 short readings on the various subjects. This makes them ideal to use as a one-month daily devotional. That way, even if you only have a small amount of time available each day for devotional reading, you can receive some inspiration and challenge to take with you through each day.
Also take note that we have updated our SPECIAL OFFERS page today with some GREAT DEALS! Ultimate Intention by Devern Fromke, the best selling book on our site, is now available for $3.75 for a limited time. And just for good measure, we've reduced Unto Full Stature by Devern Fromke as well! These price reductions represent a 50% price cut!
Our second best selling book, The Awakening by Marie Monsen, is also currently on sale for $5.25. If you haven't read this book, you're missing out. Here's what customer Jerry Soen recently had to say in his review of this book:
This is an outstanding book. If you have never read about revival you should read it, it is more than challenging. If you have read about revival you should read this one. One learns and understands that we need to be 'empty vessels, not a few' where we can be filled and anointed by the Holy Spirit. It will simplify your understanding of revival and help you to realize that where 'two or more are gathered in His name' all things are possible.

Date added: 08/21/2013 Just Released: Powerful Book on Missions
Kingsley Press is pleased to announce the immediate availability of World Missions:Total Spiritual Warfare by L. E. Maxwell. This book was first published in 1977 with the title World Missions: Total War. This new Kingsley Press edition is little changed from the original except for the title and some slight changes in chapter 1 by Paul Maxwell, the author's son. This is a powerful book on the church's responsibility to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to the nations.
L. E. Maxwell was the co-founder and president of Prairie Bible Institute in Alberta, Canada, which began with only 8 students but under Maxwell's dynamic leadership grew to be the largest missionary training institute in Canada and the second largest on the North American continent. His lifelong calling to training disciplined soldiers for the mission fields of the world uniquely positioned Maxwell to write this stirring appeal to the Evangelical church worldwide not to slack off in missionary endeavor.
Go to the World Missions: Total Spiritual Warfare product page to read the full description, check out the preface and a sample chapter, then purchase copies for yourself and your friends. You can also click the Facebook Like button, the Google+ button, pin it to your Pinterest board, as well as Twitter and others. Help spread the word about this amazing book!
Date added: 07/02/2013 Hot off the Press: The Christian Hero - A Sketch of the Life of Robert Annan
Hot off the press: The Christian Hero: A Sketch of the Life of Robert Annan.
Here's what volunteer proofreader Linda Sutton wrote about the book: Christian Hero – set in the mid 1800’s in the region of Dundee in Scotland – winningly displays how God set His special saving love on a so-called worthless fellow named Robert Annan. Robert had wasted his youth in drinking, brawling and reveling. A three-month stint in jail left him anxious for change, but his attempts at self-reform only left him empty, miserable and in worse condition than before.
One night when he was 26, Robert attended a revival meeting and became deeply affected by the words of Scottish evangelist, Duncan Matheson. Robert left exclaiming, “Great God, am I shut out of salvation for ever?” After three tormented days grieving over his sin and hopeless of ever finding peace with God, the Holy Spirit came and enabled him to lay hold of this truth: “Him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out.” From that day on, Robert anchored his hope on Jesus the Rock and never looked back. Instantly, he became like Paul – a “debtor to all men.” The very first night, Robert passed out tracts and preached to all who would listen. Everyone who knew him marveled at the change they saw. The second night he shared at a gospel meeting what the Lord had done for him.
His love for Christ and passion for souls seemed to know no bounds, and often after a day of hard labor, he would tirelessly and ardently preach in nearby towns. Soul-winning was his most important and urgent occupation and he lost no time or opportunity working in “the fields that were white for harvest.” He was especially burdened for those caught in the vice of drink and rebel-rousing, as he had been, and often went to the nearby wharf to see if some of the hardest might be saved. Written by Rev. J. MacPherson, who knew Robert from the time he was a babe in Christ, the Christian Hero is an incredible and rousing testament to God’s power and delight to work through the meek and lowly to save the apple of His eye – the human soul. Its pages will surely stir the reader to cry along with Robert Annan, “I wish to do something for Christ!”

Date added: 06/01/2013 Upcoming Titles for Summer 2013
About fifteen months ago we reprinted Alexander Whyte's classic work on prayer, Lord, Teach Us to Pray. Recently, we've been preparing one of his other books for the press: With Mercy and With Judgment. This is also a collection of sermons, but this time the subjects are more varied. Whyte was undoubtedly one of the greatest Scottish preachers ever. Warren Wiersbe has written a short biographical sketch of Whyte in his 50 People Every Christian Should Know. He emphasizes Whyte’s diligence and hard work in sermon preparation, his warm pastoral heart, and his “surgical” preaching. "Do not put off reading Whyte's sermons," he urges. We hope to have this title printed and ready for purchase in 2-3 weeks.
Another title we're currently working on is: The Christian Hero, A Sketch of the Life of Robert Annan. This is the amazing story of Robert Annan of Dundee, Scotland. His life reads a little like that of John Newton, author of the popular hymn Amazing Grace. He was wonderfully converted after a life of sinning and running from God, and was then used by the Lord to help bring other wandering sheep back to the fold of God's love and grace. We can't wait to get this title off the presses and we're sure it will be a blessing to many. Hopefully this little volume will be ready in about 4-5 weeks. Stay tuned!
Last but not least, we're also working on a biography of William Bramwell, an amazing preacher and intercessor among the early Methodists. We don't have a target date for this release yet, but the Lord willing it should be some time this summer.
